What does home mean when it’s constantly changing?

Home is Photodom’s annual team exhibition, bringing together the perspectives of the artists, educators, lab technicians, and community builders who make up our space. Through documentary photography, portraiture, landscape, and self portraiture, each artist reflects on the places, people, and memories that continue to shape their understanding of belonging.

For some, home is inherited. For others, it is built through migration, friendship, ritual, or the act of remembering. These photographs challenge the idea that home is simply a place, instead revealing it as something carried within us, continually evolving alongside our lives.

As a film lab, we witness thousands of personal stories pass through our hands each year. Every roll developed preserves someone’s version of home. This exhibition turns that lens inward, inviting the Photodom team to share their own.
