At this class, participants will learn the stories behind renowned artists such as Carrie Mae Weems and Gordon Parks. They will also be equipped with an understanding of Black art history as it relates to the field of photography. Each class combines historical knowledge with a practical workshop component that investigates different ways of image-making.
